We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Lead in our Construction Division where you will be responsible for the creation and execution of the Marketing strategy, building strong relationships with all stakeholders including our dealer network, internal colleagues, external agencies, as well as online press influencers to ensure all marketing and sales opportunities, alongside the representation of our brand, is achieved at the highest possible level.

The hours are predominantly Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm and we are currently operating hybrid working of 3 days in the office, 2 days from home (following training/probation).

What you will be doing:
• Setting the Marketing strategy for the UK through an annual Marketing Plan.
• Set and manage an annual budget inline with strategic plan and product launches.
• Lead European Marketing team on new product launch activity and events to ensure consistent and unified approach.
• Manage the Marketing executive, including setting and monitoring annual objectives.
• Oversee all digital activity: content creation, web content, newsletters, customer testimonials and campaign coordination.
• Dealer Marketing Communication covering new launches and other initiatives.
• Press management: Creation and Implementation of press releases, press tests, launch invites and hosting.
• Influencer management: contracts, content and relationship.
• Media Plan - development and implementation online and offline.
• End to end event management for hospitality events, annual conferences and regional construction events (eg: UK: Plantworx & Hillhead, Europe: Bauma).
• Manage and develop product photo and film shoots with Marketing Executive.
• Manage and develop campaign materials (including but not limited to): Print & Digital adverts, brochures, spec sheets, Dealer templates, Posters, Product Pages and web banners and animations.
• Measure ROI through monthly management reports for both UK & Europe.
• Ensure European merchandise requests are relevant for UK market and manage dealer requests for merchandise support.
• Collaborate with legal team to maintain KTS terms and conditions for UK & Europe.
• Develop and implement Kubota Finance campaigns.
• Define and publish European corporate identity guidelines & support European implementation and implement signage across UK & ROI network.
• Support the dealer network with their advertising and marketing queries, providing advice where required.
• Manage External agency relationships (Creative, Event support and Film & Photography).
• Create and develop sales and marketing campaigns with the Marketing Executive, liaising with external agencies to create collateral.
• Manage dealer and customer PR opportunities.
• Work with the four other marketing teams (Tractors, Ground care, Engines and Aftersales) as and when required to create consistent cross divisional brand messages.
• Work closely with Sales and Product teams to support new product introductions for the UK.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Marketing experience, ideally within this industry but not essential or knowledge of working within/with a dealer network.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills.
• Proactive approach to find solutions for company, team and individual challenges.
• Ability to manage people, and a good team player who can also work autonomously to complete relevant tasks.
• Strong IT skills with M/S office suite.
• General office administration experience.
• Will be able to demonstrate ability to manage issues to a successful conclusion using empathy, mutual respect and negotiation skills.
• Focused, highly organised with a professional approach whilst prioritising to ensure all work is completed to the correct standards and timescales.
• There will be UK and possibly European travel involved within the role which will require some overnight stops therefore a current clean driving licence and passport are required.
