About the role
As the Marketing Lead for SMB, Mid-Market & Enterprise at Vocus, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to attract and retain customers within these key segments. Additionally, you will provide product marketing support for a specified portfolio of products, ensuring they are effectively positioned in the market and aligned with customer needs.
What you’ll be doing
Segment Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the unique needs and preferences of Simple Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB customers in the telecommunications industry. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimise multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Utilise a mix of channels such as digital marketing, email marketing, content marketing, events, and more to effectively reach and resonate with target audiences.
Customer Insights: Conduct market research and gather customer insights to understand the needs, pain points, and buying behaviors of Simple Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB customers in the telecommunications space. Use data-driven approaches to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
Product Marketing Support: Work closely with the product management team to develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for the specified portfolio of telecommunications solutions. Create compelling marketing collateral, sales enablement materials, and presentations to support product launches and ongoing promotion.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, customer success, and senior leadership within Vocus. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key marketing metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Provide regular reporting and insights to stake holders and use data to optimise strategies for maximum impact and ROI.
What you will bring
+5 years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on B2B marketing and experience working with Mid-Market and/or SMB segments.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns in the telecommunications/IT industries or related sectors.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven marketing approaches.
Deep understanding of the telecommunications landscape in Australia is highly desirable.
Knowledge of our core product portfolios with focus on Data IP, Collaboration and Security
Knowledge of marketing best practices and Simple Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB segments (Growth mindset​ and commercially savvy)
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working with ambiguity
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
