About the Role:
The Marketing Manager for Events will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing marketing activities for tech-focused events. This role demands a combination of strategic thinking, marketing expertise, and in-depth industry knowledge.
What you will deliver:
Event Strategy & Execution:
Partner with the marketing leadership to create and implement a detailed event marketing plan for conferences, webinars, and meetups.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth event execution, including content development, logistics coordination, and on-site management.
Marketing Campaigns & Promotion:
Design and lead multichannel marketing campaigns to promote events, with a strong focus on email marketing.
Create compelling and relevant content tailored to the target audience.
Continuously track and analyze the performance of marketing efforts.
Community Building & Engagement:
Work closely with the community team to build strong relationships with influencers, speakers, sponsors, and attendees, particularly within the blockchain space.
Organize pre- and post-event networking activities, webinars, and online discussions to sustain community engagement.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as event attendance, engagement, lead generation, and return on investment (ROI).
Provide post-event reports that analyze successes, highlight areas for improvement, and offer actionable insights for future events.
Leverage data to continuously refine and improve event marketing strategies.
Budget Oversight:
Manage event marketing budgets, ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently for maximum impact.
Negotiate vendor, venue, and service provider contracts to secure optimal terms and rates.
Must Haves for the Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Proven experience in event marketing, ideally within the technology or blockchain sectors.
Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the broader tech landscape.
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in marketing platforms, including email marketing software, social media management tools, and analytics tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content and connect with diverse audiences.
Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to assess data and make informed, data-driven
