Job Description

Marketing Manager with Big Ideas & Bigger Heart

Are you a seasoned marketing pro who lives for big ideas, bold campaigns, and building genuine connections? CHOU Collective is calling on a creative, strategic leader ready to take the reins and shape the future of not just one brand—but a whole collective of them.

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who’s ready to dive in and help us tell our story in unforgettable ways. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Marketing Coordinator and lead the charge on exciting campaigns that span industries like healthcare, hospitality, real estate, and food. One day you might be launching a wellness initiative, and the next, crafting content that makes someone hungry for a local dish. No two days are alike—and that’s exactly how we like it.

CHOU Collective is a dynamic hub of ventures, and this role gives you the rare chance to unify and elevate multiple brands under one creative umbrella. From strategy to storytelling, your voice will shape how people experience who we are and what we stand for.

We're looking for someone who’s got the spark—strategic enough to see the big picture, and creative enough to bring it to life. If you're a self-starter who loves leading, dreaming, building, and doing (with a little fun along the way), we think you'll fit right in.

This is an in-office position based in beautiful Vancouver, BC. You’ll need to be local to the province, have reliable transportation, and be legally authorized to work in Canada.

What You'll Be Rocking as Our Marketing Manager

Social Media with Soul

You don’t just post — you connect. From Insta to LinkedIn, you create content that’s vibrant, on-brand, and stops the scroll. You get each platform’s vibe and use it to tell stories people actually care about.

Out and About in the Community

You’re a local scene lover — always chatting, exploring, and showing up. Whether it’s a pop-up, small biz visit, or casual stroll, you bring the brand to life with energy, heart, and great content to match.

Creative Campaigns That Hit

When things get quiet, you get clever. You craft campaigns that make people smile, click, and come back for more — all while keeping an eye on the numbers and tweaking for max impact.

Partnering Like a Pro

You see collab opportunities everywhere and jump at the chance to make them happen. With charm and confidence, you build partnerships that are real, reciprocal, and rooted in community

Creating Content That Clicks

You’ve got the eye — and the instinct. From a reel to a blog to a killer graphic, you create content that’s fresh, clickable, and always on-point with the brand. Strategy meets style, and it shows.

Staying Ahead of the Curve

Trends? You’re already on them. You blend research, SEO, and insights to shape smart strategies and pitch fresh ideas that keep the brand moving forward.

What You Bring to the Table

· You’ve got a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field — and if you’ve got digital marketing certifications (Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, etc.), that’s a big plus.

· Ideally, you’ve got 2–3 years of experience in the marketing world — whether through internships, freelance gigs, or assistant/coordination roles. If you know your way around industries like healthcare, hospitality, or real estate, you’re already ahead of the game.

Skills That’ll Make You Shine

· Strong writing and editing chops — your words make people feel things

· A knack for juggling projects and keeping everything (and everyone) on track

· Big-picture ideas with pixel-perfect execution

· An eye for detail, because little things matter

· Stellar time management in fast-moving environments

· A team player who knows how to collaborate, communicate, and celebrate wins

Your Toolbelt

· Canva (your bestie for quick visuals)

· Adobe Creative Suite (you know your way around it)

· Framer (bonus points if you're into sleek design)

· Notion (to stay organized and on your game)

· Google Analytics (because data = power)

· CRM platforms (to keep your audience close and loyal)

If you're a curious, creative, community-loving marketer who’s ready to take the lead, we’d love to meet you. Let’s create something unforgettable together.
