Job Description:
The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the marketing efforts of Vendekin, a rapidly growing Series A stage startup. This role requires a strategic and dynamic professional who can drive the company's marketing initiatives as it scales its business in India and expands globally. Prior startup experience would be highly advantageous.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to support the company's growth objectives, taking into account both the Indian and global markets.
2. Lead end-to-end marketing activities, including both B2B and B2C marketing, to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
3. Build and strengthen Vendekin's brand awareness and positioning across all target markets.
4. Devise and oversee promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and initiatives to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
5. Identify and implement innovative strategies and tactics to enhance the company's reputation and drive qualified traffic to its products and services.
6. Create highly engaging and impactful content for the website, blog, social media platforms, and other marketing channels to attract and convert target audiences.
7. Utilize data-driven insights, market research, and customer analysis to identify trends, consumer behaviors, and emerging opportunities for strategic marketing decision-making.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with product development, sales objectives, and overall business goals.
+. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in the marketing industry, particularly in graphic design, web design, and production, to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
10. Oversee the preparation of marketing collateral, including website banners, brochures, case studies, and other relevant materials.
11. Track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns, analyze results, gain insights, and present findings to senior management, adjusting strategies as needed.
12. Monitor and evaluate competitor activities, market trends, and industry developments to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
13. Drive internal marketing efforts, including the preparation of monthly newsletters and effective communication with the team.
14. Collaborate closely with senior management to provide regular updates on marketing initiatives, project metrics, and brainstorm fresh strategies.
Job Specification:
1. 4 to 7 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a leadership role, within the technology or startup industry, with a strong preference for prior startup experience.
2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
3. Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing plans and campaigns, ideally in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment, with a focus on startups.
4. Strong understanding of online content marketing, social media development strategies, and emerging marketing channels, particularly in the startup ecosystem.
5. Excellent communication, presentation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas to diverse stakeholders.
6. Ability to think creatively and innovatively to differentiate Vendekin's marketing efforts from competitors, leveraging prior experience in startup environments.
7. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, forecast challenges, and make data-driven marketing decisions.
8. Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in graphic design, web design, and production to drive visually appealing marketing materials that resonate with startup audiences.
