Job Description:

Major Job Functions:

Activity Development:
• Oversee the delivery of all campaign activities, ensuring accelerated delivery and execution.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities to drive performance in line with strategy
• Create and publish marketing materials in alignment with the business goals.
• Plan and implement promotional campaigns pulling in resources as required.
• Drive results with a lens on the timely execution of campaigns to return results.

Resource Management:
• Plan and supervise the execution of all campaign activity for the UKI across all lines of business.
• Ensure campaign implementation follows organisational guidelines and processes and that all stakeholders are fully informed of progress/milestones.
• Create integrated campaigns for all segments designed to drive demonstrable ROI.
• Day-to-day management of shared services and agency/supplier resource

Managing Effectiveness:
• Drive a results-oriented approach to marketing, focusing on targeted communications and robust activity measurement.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s marketing budget through effective cost controls and activity tracking, managing a share of the annual spend.
• Analyse the effectiveness of activities supported by the Sales Excellence team and collaborate with the business to refine and develop strategies to improve campaign performance.

Stakeholder Management:
• Engage critical business stakeholders (Managers, Product, Sales, Finance, Operations) in key activities, driving Marketing for business growth.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including Finning, Caterpillar businesses and agency partners

Knowledge:
• Expertise in deploying various elements of the marketing mix to maximize ROI.
• Proficiency in budget and agency management.
• Awareness of the latest marketing trends, both technological and communication-based, ideally within a B2B environment.

Education & Experience:
• Essential - A minimum of 3 years experience in a Marketing role.
• Essential – Proven track record of delivering successful Marketing activity at pace.
• Essential – Proven ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and focus areas
• Desirable - CIM Professional Diploma, Marketing degree or similar qualification.
• Desirable – experience of B2B Marketing in the Heavy Plant, Construction, Power sector or similar B2B industry.
• Desirable – experience of working within mid-sized or large multinational companies in a multi-channel Marketing role.
