As the Marketing Manager - Content in the Dan Murphy’s Marketing team, you’ll plan and implement inspiring branded content end to end across all digital touch points to help Australian’s to Drink Better for Less and to engage our Millennial and Gen Z customer.

You’ll play a key role in developing and driving our ambitious content marketing strategy forward by operationalizing best-in-class social media, influencer, editorial content and creative production; you’ll also manage a team of content and social specialists.

Working cross functionally, strong stakeholder management skills and a passion for brand storytelling are key to success in this role, as well as the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Define and lead Dan Murphy's content marketing strategy to solve customer problems, inspire discovery, and achieve strategic objectives.
Develop and execute social media and influencer strategy (paid and organic) to drive engagement, reach and traffic.
Manage content marketing and creative production specialists, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and fast content delivery for social, editorial and brand campaigns.
Oversee brand voice, tone, and visual experience across all content, maintaining quality control.
Collaborate with the Head of Brand Marketing & Content on channel-specific content and production approaches (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Paid, Digital, emerging channels).
Engage stakeholders (marketing campaign, eCommerce, Merchandise, Paid Media) for effective content strategy execution.
Partner with Merchandise to promote NPD and trend leadership via social media, influencers, and Dan’s Daily editorial platform.
Oversee social, influencer, and Dan’s Daily editorial content for major campaigns and always-on trade plans, meeting business targets.
Oversee our social advocacy program including our store team ambassador program
Partner with Mixin (retail media team) to develop commercialisation strategy for content channels and work with suppliers to grow brand partnerships and creative collaborations
Direct brainstorming meetings and creative sessions with
Manage external content and social agencies and partners, including performance, budgets, and engagement.
Manage and forecast the content marketing team budget.
Attendance of photoshoots and providing direction
Identify digital and cultural trends and insights to evaluate end-to-end customer experience for all content campaigns.
Manage weekly and monthly reporting to Marketing Leadership Team on content, social media trends, and digital content performance.
Optimize content using social media analytics, SEO, Google Analytics, and web traffic metrics.
Lead and inspire the team by role-modeling Endeavour Ways of Working and Values.
Empower the team to work end-to-end in a matrix environment, fostering a customer-first culture.
Develop talent pipelines and future leaders through feedback, development plans, and succession planning.

What do we need from you

Now let’s talk about you:

7+ years experience working in content marketing, social media strategy and execution.
Degree Qualified in a relevant field.
A strong digital marketing skill set, with experience in content creation and management, social media, influencer marketing, and online marketing.
Proficiency across systems including CMS, Google Analytics and Social Media Measurements platform is favourable.
Proven experience in people leadership.
Creative flair combined with strategy and conceptual thinking.
Proven ability to develop strategy.
Proven ability to think in your feet and to project manage team to ensure workflows are consistent
Retail experience is favourable.
Knowledgeable and confident in the world of Liquor.
An ability to be ‘hands on’, you are curious about the why and focused on outcomes.
Strong attention to detail and creative copywriting skills.
Ability to work autonomously with little direction and deal with ambiguity.
