Job Description – Marketing Manager (Customer Acquisition – Steel Industry)
Position Title: Marketing Manager – Customer Acquisition
Department: Marketing & Business Development
Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai, India
Reporting To: Director / Head of Sales & Marketing
Experience: 4-6 years (preferably in steel trading, B2B sales, or industrial marketing)

Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager – Customer Acquisition will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities for the company. The role involves strategic planning, market research, lead generation, and relationship management to acquire and retain B2B customers in the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement customer acquisition strategies to expand the company’s client base in the steel and industrial sectors.
· Identify and pursue new B2B business opportunities through market research, networking, and digital outreach.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and industrial buyers.
· Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
· Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies.
· Create and execute marketing campaigns, presentations, and promotional activities to enhance brand presence.
· Collaborate with management to define revenue goals and track progress through regular performance reports.
· Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to generate leads and enhance visibility.
· Manage CRM tools and maintain accurate data on leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
Required Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of steel products, grades, and industrial applications.
· Proven experience in B2B marketing, customer acquisition, and lead generation.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and basic digital marketing tools.
· Analytical thinking with a strategic and result-oriented approach.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships simultaneously.
Qualifications:
· Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering.
· 4–8 years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development roles (steel or industrial sector preferred).
· Proven track record in achieving customer acquisition and revenue targets.
Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
