Marketing Manager - Visitor Attraction / Stadium / Venue / Large Hotel experience essential - London - £55k-£60k + bonus & benefits

• Marketing large scale events - c500+ attendees / c400 events per year
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager, with demonstrable success developing and delivering marketing plans for a venue / stadium / visitor attraction or large hotel to join a leading events venue in London.
The main focus of this Marketing Manager role is to develop and deliver the annual marketing and communications plan. Working with the Marketing and Comms Director and wider team, you will drive projects from initial plan to completion to support the annual revenue targets.
Suitable candidates must have demonstrable experience in a similar venue / tourist attraction marketing role, with multiple stakeholder management experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to execute to deadlines and budgets.
Previous experience marketing large scale conferences, exhibitions and/or events (c500+ attendees) is what we’re looking for.
Key responsibilities as the Marketing Manager will include:
• Creating and delivering a commercially focused marketing and communications plan
• Understanding the sales cycle and driving targeted marketing activity for key organiser audiences, including B2B and B2C clients in both the UK and Europe
• Using relevant market research and insights to support the development of marketing campaigns, ensuring measurement and ROI is key to activity
• Developing and updating sales and marketing materials including brochures, case studies, video content, website content, virtual tour and sales presentations
• Managing all digital marketing activity
• Implementing direct marketing campaigns including email, newsletters and direct mail
• Managing the company’s presence at relevant exhibitions, trade shows, industry events and conferences
• Overseeing corporate hospitality and client events as required
• Managing all budgets and finance requirements relating to marketing activity
• Helping to develop relationships with key sponsors and partners and their marketing teams
• Driving a programme of marketing support for key clients
• Utilising research and insights to drive improvements and developments

What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience in a similar Marketing Manager role
• Experience gained within a large visitor attraction / stadium / large corporate venue, exhibition space or large hotel is essential
• Previous experience developing and executing commercially focused marketing plans
• Previous experience marketing large scale events (c500+ attendees) is highly sought
• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
• Impeccable communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to liaise at all levels
• Drive, energy, flexibility and self-motivation - always looking for opportunities to improve
• Strong project planning skills with good business acumen / commercial awareness
• Proactive approach with a positive and approachable nature
• IT literate including good MS Office and database management experience
• Dynamic approach with the ability to wok under pressure
• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or related subject) is highly desirable
