What will you do?

The Marketing Manager role at KingFisher Boats involves reporting to the President and will be based in Vernon, British Columbia. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing the company's marketing efforts and ensuring the successful execution of various initiatives. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth of KingFisher Boats.

Strategic Planning and Execution

Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and growth targets.

Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and growth opportunities.

Collaborate with leadership to define marketing goals, KPIs, and campaign strategies.

Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for new models.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support successful new product launches.

Digital Marketing and Demand Generation

Manage and optimize digital campaigns across SEO, SEM, paid media, and email to drive customer acquisition and engagement.

Execute lead generation and nurturing programs to grow qualified leads each quarter.

Expand market reach by developing segment-specific plans to drive increased awareness and leads.

Analyze campaign performance using data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximize ROI.

Report on demand and lead generation performance to executive leadership.

Brand & Content Management

Oversee the development and evolution of brand identity to ensure a strong and consistent market presence.

Lead content creation and community engagement strategies across social media, blogs, and digital platforms.

Create and execute email marketing campaigns, promotional calendars, and content schedules.

Support the execution of marketing communications projects (e.g. video, print, ads, point-of-purchase materials, launch kits) in collaboration with internal teams and external partners, including the Bryton Marine Group.

Collaborate with product and sales teams to align messaging.

Dealer & Internal Marketing Support

Develop and manage marketing plans for KingFisher products, including branded collateral, image wear, and sales tools.

Manage dealer marketing initiatives, including the co-op program with engine companies, dealer binders, and boat packages.

Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support promotional events and product launches.

Coordinate participation in boat shows, dealer meetings, and exhibitions.

Assist in the development and execution of KingFisher’s PR strategy.

Performance Analytics and Reporting

Establish, track, and report on key marketing performance metrics.

Use advanced analytics tools to evaluate campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.

Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience in a marketing role with a focus on lead generation and digital campaigns.

Familiarity with dealer/distributor networks and experience in marine or manufacturing industries is an asset.

Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing tools, including social media and content management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with design or web tools is a plus.

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Bilingual (English/French) is an asset but not required.

Salary: $70,000 to $85,000 / year.

Working Conditions

Primarily an office work environment with frequent periods of working at desk using computer. Occasional work in the field for various marketing-related events.

Manual dexterity.

Daily interactions with employees, management, and the public at large.

Frequent need to give concentrated attention, either hearing or seeing to work being performed.

Travel and overtime may be required.

Ability to travel to the United States.

Schedule/Shifts

Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week – daily schedule may be flexible.
