Job Description

Overall objective: Develop and implement India marketing/PR strategies and plans for British Safety Council aligned with product vertical business strategies and plans using both internal and external stakeholders and resources.

General responsibilities include:

· Manage the retained Indian PR agency and digital agency.

· Enabling the organisation to exceed commercial targets, working within agreed efficiency levels

· Manage the relevant marketing and PR budget

· Speak positively and enthusiastically about the organisation and its products and services to ensure that a professional organisation and brand image is provided at all times to members, customers, stakeholders and colleagues.

Marketing and PR responsibilities include:

1. Responsible for the marketing/PR of all India products and services in conjunction with the UK Marketing and Policy & Influencing teams.

2. Develop integrated, multi-channel marketing/PR plans in conjunction with the UK Marketing and Policy Influencing teams, to meet business objectives.

3. Work with the retained India PR agency and Head of Policy & Influencing (UK) to develop an Indian media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media, in support of business objectives.

4. Working with the Indian PR agency and Head of Policy & Influencing (UK), monitor the national news agenda identifying and contributing content on relevant opportunities to maximise brand and positive PR for BSC India’s products and services.

5. Manage the implementation of all Indian marketing/PR campaigns to agreed targets and KPIs.

6. Manage and deliver the lead management and nurturing process.

7. Develop and manage BSC India data cleaning, maintenance and intelligence procedures.

8. Working closely with the UK Marketing team, oversee the positioning of the brand image and identity within the Indian market.

+. Oversee all aspects of the design, production and distribution of India collateral and branded materials, ensuring a consistent overall corporate look and feel.

10. Gather robust India marketing intelligence through the evaluation of customer intelligence, market conditions and competitor data, to inform the marketing and PR strategy
