We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Officer to support our Communications and Marketing team.
Role
We are seeking a marketing professional to develop and deliver a marketing and engagement strategy, growing our brand and recruiting new members and activists. You will be responsible for leading marketing projects, conducting market research, monitoring campaign performance, and collaborating with the team to produce high-quality content.
Responsibilities
Support the development, implementation, and delivery of a marketing and engagement strategy that drives meaningful engagement and brand awareness.
Lead marketing projects and initiatives to drive engagement and membership conversion among target audiences.
Conduct in-depth market research to understand emerging trends, audience needs, and industry/market changes.
Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing campaign performance using data-driven insights.
Collaborate with the Communications and Marketing team to develop and produce high-quality content for marketing collateral.
Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualification in marketing or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in marketing, with proven experience in digital marketing and advertising.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Demonstrated proficiency in marketing fundamentals, brand management, market analysis, and digital marketing trends.
Strong ability to analyse data and drive actionable insights and strategies.
Requirements
We require a self-motivated, responsive, and flexible individual with a commitment to social justice and union values. Experience working for a trade union or similar not-for-profit organisation is desirable.
