Job Description

Context & Purpose

The role is responsible for leading the coordination of the development and coordinating the execution of our global marketing calendar and roadmap and global 360 campaigns and guiding the measurement of their effectiveness.

The role will ensure we have the right inputs into our global marketing calendar, roadmap and 360 campaigns and measure their outputs in context of contribution to delivering our commercial goals and marketing strategy.

As a new De Beers Jewellers Marketing function the individual must be comfortable with defining ways of working for 360 campaign development, management and for measuring campaign effectiveness, including training teams on these and identifying opportunities to continuously improve these to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate is client centric, passionate about retail and luxury, able to pull together cross-functional inputs into clear plans and briefs, experienced in engaging and inspiring matrix teams and driving collaboration and has proven ability to lead multi-brand, multi-channel and multi-market campaigns driving consumer acquisition and engagement. They are interested in working in a Global organisation, a proven problem-solver, have strong attention to detail and have the ability to always think one step ahead.

Responsibilities

Global Marketing Calendar and Project Roadmap
• Work with cross-functional teams to annually plan, develop and agree the global marketing calendar and project roadmap with a focus on the next 12-months, but with a 3-year outlook ensuring strong alignment with our commercial objectives and goals.
• Act as the single point of contact for the global marketing calendar and project roadmap and ensure that progress against these is reported at our monthly meetings and performance at our quarterly meetings.
• Adopt an always-on approach towards identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise the effectiveness of our global marketing calendar and project roadmap.

Global Marketing Effectiveness
• Input into the design, development and training of our team on our global marketing effectiveness methodology.
• Work with cross-functional teams to plan, develop and agree action plans to respond to marketing effectiveness insights with a focus on optimising global campaigns, but feeding these into the wider marketing calendar and roadmap.
• Act as the single point of contact for marketing effectiveness and ensure that progress is reported at our monthly meetings and performance at our quarterly meetings.
• Adopt an always-on approach towards identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise the effectiveness of our marketing methodology.

Global Marketing 360 Campaign Management
• Collaborate the team to design, develop and train our team on our global 360 marketing campaign critical path covering campaign planning, campaign brief development, concept testing, production, consumer engagement and post launch optimisation and evaluation.
• Utilise Asana to manage the 360-marketing campaigns critical path and train cross-functions on the platform to ensure all campaign related information such as briefs, and plans are held in one place.
• Work with cross-functional teams to plan, develop, agree and coordinate 360 marketing campaign plans and briefs with a focus on global campaigns, but ensuring strong alignment with local market campaigns and activations.
• Act as the single point of contact for global 360-marketing campaigns and ensure that progress against the campaign plans and briefs are reported at our monthly meetings and performance at our quarterly meetings.
• Adopt an always-on approach towards identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise the effectiveness of 360 global campaigns

Qualifications
• Proven experience within Marketing strategy and operations, with strong experience / appreciation of luxury market – to both deliver on the existing marketing, new business and content strategy, and work with the wider business to refresh and refine.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
• Technical proficiency – Broad and deep knowledge of marketing technologies.
• Experience in establishing relationships with other luxury brands in order to co-host marketing events.
• Experience of the jewellery market would be advantageous.
• A degree or relevant marketing qualification is desirable.
• Exceptional time-management skills with ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
• Proactive in nature – you’re always thinking one step ahead & presenting new ways of achieving objectives.
• Passion for the luxury industry.
• Resourceful, flexible, proactive, creative, team-player.
• Build strong, personal and effective working relationships.
