Job Title: Public Relations (PR) Coordinator

Department: Marketing & Communications
Reporting To: PR Manager / Brand Head / Marketing Lead
Job Type: Full-Time
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented PR Coordinator to support the execution of public relations strategies, media outreach, and brand communication efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, media relations, and building a strong brand image across digital and traditional platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and executing PR campaigns aligned with brand and marketing goals.
Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media pitches, event announcements, and other communications materials.
Maintain and update media contact lists, influencer databases, and PR trackers.
Coordinate with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and partners for interviews, coverage, and collaborations.
Monitor press coverage and compile daily/weekly media clippings and performance reports.
Organize and support PR events, launches, influencer engagements, and brand activations.
Collaborate with design, social media, and content teams for consistent brand messaging.
Maintain brand guidelines across all public communications.
Track competitor media activity and stay updated on industry trends.
Support crisis communication efforts, if required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in PR, communications, or a similar role (agency or in-house).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and PR management tools (like Meltwater, Cision, or Zoho Social – if used).
Creative thinking and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred:
Experience in handling media for consumer brands, e-commerce, or startups.
Familiarity with influencer marketing and digital PR.
Exposure to brand partnerships and corporate communication is a plus.
