Job Description
We have an maternity leave opening for a detail-oriented, all-round skilled, exceptionally organized, and technically savvy individual to fill a Marketing/Project Coordinator position in our Halifax office. This individual will play a key role in supporting the Investor Marketing team and Numus Financial issuers by executing and tracking marketing activities with precision and creativity.
Role Overview
The Project Coordinator will manage various marketing tasks, develop strategic content, and leverage AI tools to enhance communication efforts across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects while collaborating effectively across teams.
Responsibilities
Strategic Execution: Collaborate with the Marketing Lead to implement communication and marketing plans aligned with Numus Issuers' strategic objectives.
Vendor Relations: Maintain relationships with current and potential vendors while tracking project statuses.
Content Development: Research, write, and create content for digital platforms such as websites, blogs, newsletters, press releases, and social media.
AI Integration: Utilize AI tools to optimize research and marketing strategies, streamline processes, and enhance content creation.
Project Coordination: Manage cross-functional teams (creative, web development, video production) to ensure timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
Budget Management: Monitor and track allocated marketing budgets to ensure compliance.
Administrative Duties: Maintain databases, update client lists, prepare materials for distribution across digital channels, and craft newsletters. Manage content updates on the company website using WordPress, ensuring that all information is current and engaging.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in WordPress for website management.
Proven strategic writing skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project management, marketing support roles, or communications within dynamic organizations.
Strong technical proficiency with tools such as WordPress (+ Elementor), Canva, MailChimp, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Hootsuite, and AI platforms.
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience managing third-party service providers and ensuring quality deliverables.
Degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
Knowledge of digital advertising, SEM, social media marketing, graphic design is an asset.
Excellent research skills to gather insights on market trends and consumer behavior.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and project management.
