Position – Marketing Specialist
Location – Thomastown, Victoria
Salary - $75,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum
Employment Type - Full-time, Permanent
THE ROLE:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven Marketing Specialist to support the growth of a multi-faceted business. The role will focus on building brand awareness, promoting diverse service offerings, and driving client engagement across event, recruitment, and trade service lines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
· Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to promote the company’s services across event management, recruitment, branding, and international trade sectors.
· Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, client needs, and competitive activity across multiple service industries.
· Analyse marketing performance data and campaign outcomes to refine strategies and improve return on investment.
· Create and coordinate marketing materials including service brochures, digital content, presentations, and promotional collateral aligned with brand positioning.
· Manage and enhance the company’s online presence, including website content, social media channels, and professional networking platforms.
· Collaborate with internal teams across recruitment, events, and logistics to align marketing initiatives with service delivery and business objectives.
· Support brand development initiatives to strengthen the company’s market presence and reputation across different sectors.
· Liaise with external stakeholders, partners, and suppliers to coordinate marketing activities and campaigns.
· Monitor marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery of campaigns.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
· Relevant qualification, such as a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications (or agreed equivalent).
· Proven experience as a Marketing Specialist of at least 1 year (preferably more), ideally within a multi-service, recruitment, events, or logistics-related environment.
· Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and multi-channel campaign execution.
· Ability to interpret market trends and translate insights into effective marketing strategies.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong content creation ability.
· Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
· Ability to work collaboratively across different business functions.
· Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Suite, Hootsuite, and MailChimp is highly desirable.
· You must have unrestricted working rights to work full time in Australia to be eligible for consideration.
