Marketing Specialist

Located at Australia’s world-famous Sydney Fish Market in Pyrmont, we pride ourselves on the quality of our seafood and our service. Our retail division sells direct to the public, offering a fantastic selection of fish, shellfish, oysters and more. Our wholesale service supplies some of Sydney’s top restaurants and hotels with fresh seafood daily.
As part of our growth strategy, we’re enhancing our marketing efforts to boost brand awareness and strengthen customer engagement across both retail and wholesale channels.
About the Role
We are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time role focused on marketing strategy and brand development.
Working closely with management, you will help shape and deliver practical marketing initiatives that promote our product offerings, engage our customer base, and support sustainable business growth across both retail and food service markets.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the management to align marketing with business goals
Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities across both retail and wholesale seafood offerings
Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, social media, and printed materials
Analyse marketing data to evaluate campaign performance, customer engagement, and product demand trends
Manage the company’s online presence, including social platforms, digital ads, and local directory listings
Create and maintain branded content across the company website, newsletters, and social media
Oversee the production of marketing materials, including print, digital, video, and social assets
Requirements
A degree in marketing, communications or a related field, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a marketing role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong content writing ability across digital and print platforms
A creative mindset with strong attention to detail
