We’re looking for a talented Marketing Specialist who brings equal strength in insight gathering and written content creation — someone who knows compelling copy starts with asking the right questions. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on Āu wheako, Tūranga Karape (experience) with shaping compelling programme narratives across web and collateral through strong positioning and real insight.
About the Role
As our Brand, Product and Content Champion, you’ll ensure our messaging is engaging, accurate and strategically positioned for diverse audiences.
This role is a genuine 50/50 balance:
Surfacing insights through stakeholder conversations
Turning those insights into clear, compelling written content
Key responsibilities include:
Lead written content discovery sessions with internal stakeholders to gather insights, clarify positioning and surface programme strengths.
Translate complex programme information into clear, benefit-led messaging that communicates our point of difference, value and outcomes.
Write and refine compelling copy across websites, brochures and campaign materials.
Ensure all programme and product information is engaging, accurate and up to date.
Champion messaging consistency, clarity and accuracy across all marketing collateral and websites.
Develop and optimise user journeys to enhance the student experience.
Understand the product landscape and competitive environment to strengthen positioning.
You’ll collaborate with our supportive tīma (team) to source and develop written content for our website and marketing collateral. With your creativity and ability to connect with internal stakeholders, you’ll help create an outstanding user Āu wheako, Turanga Karape (experience) across our website and communications.

You’re a confident communicator who enjoys talking to people, asking smart questions and digging beneath the surface to uncover what really makes a programme stand out. You understand that great content starts with strong positioning.
You’ll bring:
At least 3 years' Āu wheako, Tūranga Karape (experience) in marketing, communications or content
Confidence in engaging stakeholders and extracting meaningful insights
The ability to translate complex information into audience-focused content
Strong copywriting skills across digital and print
An understanding of brand positioning and customer journeys
A detail-oriented mindset and awareness of market trends
Experience writing programme or education-related content is highly desirable.

This is a full-time, fixed-term role reporting to the Creative Strategy Manager within our wider Marketing team.
