A food manufacturing company is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their team in San Francisco, CA. This role is responsible for assisting the Marketing group in developing media tactics and retail / foodservice activations A bachelor’s degree with a focus on business, economics or communications, 3 years of marketing experience or equivalent exposure to a corporate environment, experience with various Social Media platforms (including, but not limited to Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube) are required. This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-person position (hybrid available - after a 6-month training period) with a bonus, excellent benefits and 401k.
Marketing Specialist Duties:
-Lead new product development assignments by working closely with the supervisor
-Lead the day-to-day progress of all projects
-Develop recipe library and recipe booklets
-Write Social media posts (Instagram/LinkedIn) and monitor the metrics
-Lead Sales Story for Foodservice and Retail
-Assist overall coordination of Industrial, retail & Foodservice marketing programs for North America
-Maintain company website up to date.
-Handle day-to-day communication with agencies and vendors
-Assist with various research projects and presentations
-Field calls with representatives soliciting our participation in promotion and evaluate the benefit of these programs for the company
-Assist in preparation of meeting materials (i.e. agenda, flight & hotel booking, PPT template, name cards, printing & binding presentations, etc.)
-Edit and update marketing materials using Adobe
-Facilitate the proof-reading and editing process
-Coordinate production of all promotional material
-Assist wide range of projects (i.e. new product launch, new website launch, holiday cards, taste testing, and video production)
-Help assist with shows
Marketing Specialist Skills:
-Must have a bachelor’s degree with a focus on business, economics or communications
-Must have 3 years of marketing experience or equivalent exposure to a corporate environment
-Must have experience with various Social Media platforms (including, but not limited to Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube)
-Comfortable with “numbers” is must
-Strong MS Excel and PPT skills
-Strong Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator skills
