Responsibilities

SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for collaborating with different marketing channels and departments to ensure promotional offers are built into the company’s reservation system, featured on the website, and communicated broadly

Responsibilities also include maintaining promotional tools and resources, updating client-facing collateral, monitoring product inventory, and impacts of promotional campaigns through reporting

Works with Promotions and Revenue Management teams as well as other key stakeholders on promotional campaigns and offers to effectively maximize occupancy

Regularly monitors product inventory and communicates the focus and priority on dates of need internally

Analyzes and reports on the impact of pricing, promotional offers, offer combinations, and other tactics across all products and channels

Partners with key stakeholders and IT to develop promotional offers in the reservations system and regularly monitors and adjusts based on the rate of sale

Collaborates with Revenue Management team and Sales to review travel advisor incentive programs, consortia programs, and account-specific promotional campaigns; reports on offer effectiveness

Provides monthly dates and prices, including terms and conditions, for promotional flyers and website landing pages; ensures accuracy and deadlines are met

Monitors promotion-specific content on the website and reviews marketing and sales collateral for retail pricing and promotional accuracy, including terms and conditions

Collaborates with Promotions, Revenue Management, and IT to develop digital/automated tools to monitor inventory and promotions

Assists with competitive analysis relating to competitor pricing, policies, promotions, and products

Maintains marketing dates and price files, as well as promotional resources utilized across various departments

Maintains an effective and insightful communications conduit between the Marketing, Sales, and Reservations/Contact Center departments on all promotional activities

Performs other related duties as assigned by management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities
