The Marketing Technology Digital System & Senior UX Analyst is a critical role in the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing. Their purpose is to ensure actionable insights, data, performance tracking and best practices are leveraged to make strategic decisions regarding digital and technical ecosystems that enhance both customer and system user experiences, mitigate risk, drive business results and improve marketing efficiencies at scale.

In this role you will lead research and testing, analyze data and evaluate marketing technology trends and best practices to inform key decisions for improving performance across our core capabilities such as our digital design system, digital asset management and content enablement programs. These programs have direct impact on client experiences and serve multiple channels, retail, editorial and institutional marketing use cases, and internal and external partners.

This role is part of the Marketing Technology Planning and Enablement (MTPE) team, a dynamic, cross-discipline team dedicated to building and optimizing strategy and operations for the entire Schwab Marketing Technology eco-system, ensuring better client experiences and improved business results at scale, near and long term.

What you’ll do:

Your primary responsibility is to provide compelling and actionable data and insights to ensure informed decisions across MarTech programs and core capabilities. This includes owning strategy and implementation of research and testing, delivering data analysis, performance tracking, managing a vendor partner and identifying gaps and opportunities to improve client experiences and drive business outcomes.

Activities include:

Lead our data and insights program supporting discovery efforts in alignment with marketing objectives and priorities relevant to the digital design system, digital asset management and content enablement efforts to validate problems and solutions.
Coordinate planning and execution across teams and disciplines, including maintaining all necessary documentation, and reference materials to ensure objectives are met and insights and data will effectively inform key decisions and activities.
Drive action and key decisions with compelling and thorough communication, reporting and presentations appropriate for various levels of audiences. This includes identifying research and testing opportunities, specifying outcomes, hypothesizing, and determining which methodology is best to gain actionable data and insights that will inform key decisions and improve quality of work to achieve business outcomes.
Accurately track and visualize data to assess performance or other learning objectives, gathering it from tools including Adobe Analytics, various platforms, 3rd party research, best practices etc., to establish baseline metrics and targets for various studies and tests. Work in partnership with our data team and other researchers to analyze results, validate findings and ensure accuracy of key data.
Facilitate cross-sharing and stay on top of industry trends and competitive research to ensure long term success and innovation for a competitive edge. This includes successful application of data, insights and learnings and digital marketing best practices.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned researcher and objective data analyst with a range of experience and skills across multiple marketing technology platforms, tools and core capabilities with experience in digital design systems, digital asset management and content enablement.

Key Skills: To be successful in this role you should have the following skills:

Proactive Initiative: You’re a leader and subject matter expert in UX research and user testing with an existing toolkit of strategic frameworks, approaches and experience who can identify what needs to be done and do it with some autonomy.
Strategic Thinker: You naturally approach a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach and can clearly envision an objective and the steps needed to achieve it from a research and testing standpoint by weighing the right inputs, determining the best methodology and articulating hypotheses.
Communicator: You work well within a team of marketers, technologists, creative designers and developers and ensure information is shared and documented so there are actionable insights/results and clear next steps and to help align a broad/diverse audience including stakeholders and leadership.
Technical Chops: You’ve demonstrated expertise in Data and Research strategy, hypothesis creation, and data analytics. Experienced in using tools such as Adobe analytics, UserZoom, A/B and multi variant testing. Are knowledgeable in UX design with some formal training or education.
Creative Solutioning: You thrive in an agile, sprint-based workflow that can be scrappy and pivot approaches in collaboration with designers and developers while anchoring in on an objective
What you have


To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience working with marketing technology core capabilities including Digital Design Systems, Digital Asset Management Systems and Digital Marketing Content modeling among others (Email, Mobile App, Campaign Management, Marketing Automation, Personalization and Segmentation a plus)
4 + years of experience in research and data analytics relevant to a range of marketing technology platforms and tools.
Extensive hands-on experience with web analytics, research and user testing, A/B testing and analytic tools such as tableau and adobe analytics or similar. (Digital content management experience a plus.)
Experience with UX, design, research and user testing.
Proficiency with Microsoft office, Excel, Confluence, Adobe Analytics and other standard tools.
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication skills an ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
