The Role
The role will start part time (20-30 hours per week), but might scale up over time
You’ll be working remote - we all live in Calgary, and we all work from home
You’ll be designing fully custom websites - creating mockups for our development team, or using Squarespace (building them yourself)
You’ll learn to manage digital ads and analytics reporting (Google ads, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
Every project will be unique. We hope you’re unique too!

Technical Skills
Strong skills using the Adobe suite of products (photoshop, illustrator, indesign, etc.)
Strong familiarity with website design and user experience standards
Familiarity with website backend updates will be an asset
Comfortable with handling data, spreadsheets, and analytical tasks
Learning will be part of your role! If you haven’t done it, we’ll help you learn it.

Soft Skills
Strong communication skills - especially because you’re not in the same office
Positive DIY attitude – confident you can figure things out
The type of person who can spot a problem without being asked (and loves doing this)
Great at asking questions, flagging risks, and working as a team
Your schedule is somewhat flexible, so long as you’re hitting your hours each week and roughly the same office hours as the rest of the team.
Your portfolio matters! Make sure you can show us websites you’ve designed.
