This role will provide you with the opportunity to utilise your skills around event coordination and stakeholder engagement to provide hands-on support in the planning, administration, and on-the-ground delivery of the Mosman Market and Night Market series, as well as civic and community events.

What You’ll Be Working On

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is seeking hands-on experience in event operations and community engagement. You will undertake the full range of market and event coordination activities, including administering bookings and payments for the Mosman Market, liaising with stallholders, and serving as the key on-site contact during market days. You will also assist in the planning, promotion, and delivery of the Night Market series and other civic and community events, ensuring smooth operations and strong stakeholder relationships throughout.


What You’ll Bring to the Role

To be successful in this role, you will bring demonstrated experience in coordinating community markets or public events, including hands-on involvement in event set-up and operations. You’ll have strong administrative skills with the ability to manage complex systems, bookings, and communications while meeting tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with stallholders, visitors, and event staff to ensure smooth delivery of market days and civic events.

The position is identified as a Child-Related position under the Commission of Children and Young People Act 1++8 and the successful candidate is required to hold a valid Working With Children Check.
