Introduction:
• You will work closely with front office sponsors based in Singapore and Tokyo to document, design and deliver changes to the existing structures rates stack and other platforms in order to accommodate local markets currencies and business growth in APAC.
• Implement Functional solutions, unit test & coordinate releases and where applicable contribute to design sessions.
• Interact with end users & business analysts to understand their requirements and build solution pertaining to that.
• Work as a part of a local team and liaise regularly with colleagues in other regions.
• Provide support to for the applications BAU work as needed

What will you be doing?
• Strong Java and development skills, including multi-threaded programming and SQL experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with end-users and other developers in a global, team-based environment
• Strong inter-personal skills with ability to communicate thoughts, designs, and implementations in both written and verbal form
• Results-oriented, self-starter with positive "can-do" attitude.

What we’re looking for:
• The candidate is expected to be a passitionate about coding and understand Objet oriented programming
• Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science or related discipline
• Strong analytical skills, Methodical approach with good attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience of working as a Developer in a collaborative but disciplined agile delivery environment
• Exemplary team player with good attitude
• Awareness of different cultural background of users and team members

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Four-year college degree in Computer Science or related field from a premier insititute.
• Solid knowledge on Core Java and Object Oriented Programming
• Understanding of agile methodology, Scrum, DevOps, cloud technologies will be an added advantage
