Job Description
Shangri-La Sydney is looking for a new Chef de Partie to join our Banquets Kitchen.
As our new Chef de Partie, you will be experienced in various cooking techniques, have a flair for creativity, understand various sections of the Kitchen including grill, larder and pastry. You will have a passion to present and serve dishes of the highest quality, using seasonal local Australian produce.
You must possess excellent communications skills whilst able to work in a busy environment, fast-paced environment and support the development of other Chefs including Commis and Demi Chefs, Cooks and Apprentices. A passion and a heart for Hospitality is essential.
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is mandatory for all positions, along with a Food safety certificate.
You will be provided with strong guidance and the opportunity to grow your career in a friendly and harmonious work environment.
You will be paid on an hourly wage basis under the Hospitality Industry General Award 2020.
Monday - Friday: $27.02
Saturday: $33.78
Sunday: $40.53
Public Holiday: $60.80
