Job Description: As a Carpenter at Bayt 22 (Kuwait), you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will work on various projects, including residential and commercial buildings, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
• Assemble and install frameworks, structures, and fixtures, including doors, windows, and cabinets.
• Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures.
• Build scaffolding and other temporary structures.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in carpentry.
• Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Excellent understanding of carpentry materials and the ability to select appropriate materials for each project.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• High school diploma and a degree or certification in carpentry from a recognized institution.
• Must speak English fluently.
• Excellent experience in furniture manufacturing.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in woodworking or furniture manufacturing, with a strong focus on leadership roles.
• Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
• Must be willing to relocate to Kuwait.
