What You Will Do:
We have an opportunity for a Material Control Lab Technician to become part of our Quality Technical Control Group (TCG) based in Columbus, GA.
Working Schedule is 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm
Responsibilities of Technical Control Group (TCG):
• Receive and process vendor certifications
• Maintain the U-List
• Possess a mechanical and technical aptitude along with the ability to follow work instructions while complying with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• Monitor TR List to ensure UGA and SAP receivers match
• Perform part number changes
• Disposition the Queue
• Complete TR and ACC in SAP
• Perform 6s each shift
• Engage in process optimization to allow success of production/quality goals while achieving and maintaining cost savings
• Work with different departments within the facility to achieve production goals
• Complete all training within the expected time given
• Other tasks will be discussed during the interview/ training
Qualifications You Must Have:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2 to 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing or material control lab environment
• Technical work experience to include MS Excel
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
