Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Material Testing and Special Inspection Administrator. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring compliance with regulations and standards by coordinating and managing administrative tasks related to material testing and special inspections on construction projects.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and schedule material testing and special inspection services according to project requirements and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients to facilitate the inspection process.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection reports, test results, and related documentation.
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and project documentation.
• Track project budgets and expenses related to material testing and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
• Provide administrative support to the material testing and inspection team as needed.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Familiarity with material testing procedures and special inspection requirements is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other relevant software.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field preferred.
