Job Description
We are seeking a Math Content Specialist to join our Growth and Marketing team. As a Math Content Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all the content published on our social media platforms has accurate and correct mathematical elements. You will also be responsible for writing scripts for various video content and pitching new content ideas that are centered around math.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a subject matter expert in mathematics, with a deep understanding of concepts and applications beyond the basics.
• Proof-read content and verify the accuracy of all mathematical elements within it, providing suggestions and justifying changes with relevant sources.
• Write scripts for a variety of video content produced by the Growth team, ensuring that the math element is appropriately integrated and engaging for the target audience.
• Identify trends and pitch new ideas for content creation centered around math, researching new and innovative ways to present mathematical concepts to the public.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as designers and video editors, to ensure that all content produced is high-quality and visually appealing.
Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in mathematics or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to learn new mathematical concepts quickly.
• Experience in content creation, with a particular emphasis on math-centered content.
• A deep passion for mathematics and a strong desire to share that passion with others
