Responsibilities
We are looking for a brilliant Math teacher, who can further our innovative work of creating a self-paced, individualized Math curriculum for every child using tools such as Cambridge,
Jodogyaan, Khan Academy, Teachtoone, MAP Skills & MAP Growth. The job also involves teaching Math in a progressive way to children in multi-age classrooms, integrating Maths in projects where possible.
Responsibilities include:
● Developing a progressive Math Curriculum, which is firmly rooted in the real-world and which makes children fall in love with Math.
● Teaching, using blended learning (Khan Academy) and other progressive means, to children in the age group 5-12 years.
● Mapping the IGCSE curriculum with Khan Academy.
● Developing strong one-to-one relations with students and parents
● Helping students take charge of their own learning
● Leading professional development and classroom observations
● Documenting student progress for report card
● Assigning classwork and homework as necessary, according to lesson plans
● Modifying teaching styles to fit the learning styles of various students
● Maintaining a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment
● Conducting parent-teacher meetings and publish monthly newsletters
● Attending in-school and outdoors trainings and team outings (visit to other schools, field trips, overnight camps, etc) for educational and team building purposes
Additional responsibilities include:
● Supervising students out of class, such as in the hallways
● Participating in parent outreach / marketing initiatives
● Admissions counseling

Skills and Qualifications
1. Prior Experience of a minimum of 2 years of having taught Math is required.
2. Math Major at College or Postgraduate Level is required.
3. Love for research
4. Growth mindset - can reflect critically upon professional experiences in order to enhance professional effectiveness
5. Flexible, friendly and good at establishing quick rapport with students
6. Ability to work in teams
7. Humility
8. Bring your own laptop
