Avalon Heights International School is a coeducational secondary school located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. It is affiliated to the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education and was established in 1++8. The school has over 1200 students and is located near APMC Market in Navi Mumbai.

We are looking to hire for the position of High School teacger- English and Mathematics for Primary.

Responsibilities

• Planning and developing lesson plans

• Collecting the required teaching materials and sources

• Encouraging healthy classroom behavior and maintaining an orderly environment

• Providing appropriate learning and reference materials to students

• Identifying varying teaching methods to help students learn better

• Updating curriculum as required

• Evaluate the students’ knowledge through various exams like tests, assessments and assignments as per the curriculum requirements.

• Update with the teaching strategies and techniques for better content delivery.

• Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, staff meetings, continuing professional development programs and any other school events.

• Maintain good rapport with the parents and discuss the student’s issues.

• Dedicate to the overall welfare of the students and growth of the institution

Requirements and skills

• For Mathematics - B.Sc or equivalent.

• Prior experience as English/Maths teacher

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education with relevant specialization- Preferred.

• Ability to select appropriate classroom materials.

• Ability to inspire and motivate students towards subject development.

• Excellent presentation and speaking skills

• Ability to work collaboratively
