The Role:

Our Mildura transport depot is looking for a MC Linehaul Driver to join our team.

Linehaul drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods from one location to another. This role demands a high level of skill, expertise and experience in operating a commercial heavy vehicle with a gross vehicle mass of over 4.5 tonne.

This is a permanent position with day and night shifts across the 7-day week; weekend work is required.

Duties you can expect with this role include:

Working with temperature sensitive freight

Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight

Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork

Interacting with clients in a professional manner

Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.

Operating prime movers in the configuration of B-doubles

Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklists

About you:

To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:

Have a current & valid MC licence as a minimum

Experience driving B-doubles

Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems.

Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential)

Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.

Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills.

Be well presented, professional and reliable

To be successful for this role applicants must;

Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and ******* test

Provide a current traffic print out

Be prepared to work nights with flexibility of start and finish times
