Work you’ll do
Join Deloitte's Global Technology Services as Master Data Management (MDM) Engineer, work in collaboration with the MDM technical lead to implement, maintain, and enhance data models and solutions used to define and measure quality of data domains. The MDM Engineer works under the direction of the TL and TDM to develop and implement ETL and data warehouse solutions according to the established information architecture used to improve the overall data quality of the system.
The MDM Engineer applys innovative and best practice techniques for modeling, developing, enhancing, and deploying database, reporting, and integration solutions. The MDM Engineer will support existing MDM solutions (One Client Master and One People Master) and play a key role in new data integration and reporting initiatives that support organizational priorities while complying with the organization's IT and architectural standards.

Work shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology/Graduate/Postgraduate
7+ years’ experience in a similar role and Enterprise organisation.
Essential
7+ years of experience in development in Informatica Master Data Management
Hands on experience in Entity 360, Provisioning Tool, AVOS
Knowledge and use of user exits & external calls (Java) is a must
Ability to understand complex data models and business processes relating to master data domains such as customer, party, organization (and hierarchy)
Determines the data quality and data cleanse rules required to maintain the datasets using IDQ and MDM.
Define and fine tune the Match and Merge rules for MDM
Experience in code deployment and performance tuning
Strong knowledge of working with relational databases like Oracle, Sql server
Hands-on experience in writing Python / Shell scripts
Strong experience with Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Root Cause Analysis
Understanding of Informatica Daas services including Address Doctor for Address Validation, Contact Validation etc.
Understands Informatica MDM Web Services and BES
Define the short and long-term strategies for data management to ensure effective delivery of information that meets current and future requirements
Understanding of Data Models: Conceptual, Logical, and Physical & Dimensional/Relational Data Model Design
Analyze and visualize data to describe what is happening or what has happened
Maintain batch processing jobs and respond to critical production issues
Good to have
Hands-on experience in writing SSIS packages is plus
Knowledge on IICS is plus
Kowledge on any other ETL tools is plus
Kowledge on IBM MDM is plus
