About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and unit test end-to-end web applications
2. Build responsive user interface (UI) screens that scale across all devices (phone, tablet, and computer)
3. Develop new backend infrastructure and related features directly impacting the future of our product
4. Work with a team of experienced and talented developers in developing modern web applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and usability
5. Take ownership of assigned tasks, features, and any other development activities in the product lifecycle from early conception to post-deployment in a fast-paced environment
6. Employ best practices for code sharing and development to ensure common code base abstraction across all applications environment like JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, Material Design, REST services, Redis, Elastic Search, and databases
Requirements:
1. Should have strong academic excellence in undergraduate or graduate studies
2. Should have a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering
3. Should have good problem-solving skills, with expertise in algorithms, data structures, and programming
4. Should have strong object-oriented development knowledge
5. Should have good knowledge of core web components (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
6. Should have a decent understanding of frontend UI frameworks like Angular, React.js
7. Should have exposure to any relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL, Postgres, etc.)
8. Should have working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
+. Should have excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely
10. Should have the ability to work effectively within a changing environment that is going through high growth
11. Should have exceptional follow-through, personal drive, and the ability to understand direction and feedback
