We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Deployment Engineer to join our team. As a Deployment Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and deployment of our SaaS platform. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and clients, to ensure a smooth and efficient deployment process. In addition to technical expertise as a Mean stack developer, you will need excellent business and soft skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their requirements.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Mean stack development, including MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.
Experience with deploying SaaS platforms and configuring associated technologies such as databases, web servers, and APIs.
Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
Solid understanding of database design and optimization principles, with hands-on experience in MongoDB.
Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices, including version control systems (e.g., Git).
Business and Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, gather requirements, and explain technical concepts in a non-technical manner.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve deployment issues efficiently.
Project management skills to plan and execute deployments within defined timelines and allocated resources.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Experience:Prior experience of at-least 4+ years as a Mean stack developer, with a track record of successfully implementing and deploying SaaS platforms.
Experience in client-facing roles, conducting discussions, gathering requirements, and managing client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Deployment Planning: Collaborate with project managers and development teams to create deployment plans, including defining timelines, resource allocation, and technical requirements for successful platform implementation.
Platform Configuration: Utilize your Mean stack development skills to configure and customize the SaaS platform based on client requirements and specifications.
Deployment Execution: Execute deployment plans, ensuring the seamless integration of the SaaS platform into client environments. This includes installing, configuring, and testing the software components, databases, and associated technologies.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues during the deployment process, including debugging, error analysis, and providing solutions to ensure the platform functions optimally.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide technical expertise, and address any concerns or questions they may have. Effectively communicate the benefits and features of the SaaS platform and its deployment process.
Documentation: Create comprehensive deployment documentation, including technical specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting manuals, to facilitate future deployments and provide support to clients.
