As the Mechanic for our Decoking business unit, you will troubleshoot, verify and repair the decoking vehicles. The Mechanic will also perform mechanical and maintenance overhaul when necessary.
As the Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
• Inspecting pumpers for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and/or replacing defective parts, components, or systems.
• Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and ensuring work meets specifications.
• Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment- Pumper trucks, trailers, and all other company vehicles.
• Analyzing and repairing mechanical failures.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
• Have 3+ years of experience as a mechanic.
• Possess repair and troubleshooting experience preferred with Volvo general line products.
• Skilled in the operation of variety of tools and equipment used in the repair of heavy equipment.
• Have experience working with compressors and or fluid pumps preferred.
• Be able to work occasional overtime and weekends during peak periods.
