The Role
We are actively seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanic to join us at our bustling Botany Downs retail store. This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, across Monday to Friday, where you'll be the expert and helping to drive our mechanical service offerings.
You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:
Performing general and some specialised mechanical repairs and servicing on a variety of customer vehicles
Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently using testing equipment
Conducting inspections to ensure all work meets rigorous safety and compliance standards
Providing clear and professional explanations of repair work and recommendations to our customers
To be successful you must have:
A Level 4 Certificate in Light Automotive, or equivalent, and a minimum of 3 years' work experience preferably within the NZ market
A Full, clean Driver's License
A current WOF Certificate or be prepared and able to obtain this is preferable
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent computer literacy and technical proficiency
