Description:
The Mechanic Helper provides support to the Mechanics and performs duties such as changing oil and tires, replacing hoses and belts, inspecting brakes, and helping to diagnose vehicle issues. Helps to keep the shop clean. Duties include conducting basic maintenance tasks on vehicles, assisting mechanics with major repairs, cleaning the shop and equipment, maintaining and monitoring parts and fluid inventories and repairing flat tires, including dismounting and mounting.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma required. Completion of certification program in automotive technology or related field preferred. Experience working with hand tools required. Must have familiarity with both diesel and gas engines. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with Kualoa staff from various departments as well as guests. Must be able to work in outdoor environment with varying weather conditions. 3+ years Driver's license with good driving record required.
Schedule:
Full Time. Open availability to include weekends and holidays required.
