Role Overview
We are seeking a Mechanic I to join our Service Center team. As a seasoned professional, you will excel in diagnosing and repairing complex systems, including diesel, electric, and hydrogen fuel cell engines.
Key Responsibilities
Engine Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair a range of engine types, including diesel, electric, and hydrogen fuel cell engines.
Advanced HVAC Systems: Service and repair intricate HVAC systems, ensuring passenger comfort and system efficiency.
Electrical Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting and repairs for electric buses, including battery cells, drivetrains, and high-voltage systems.
Complex System Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of advanced driveline components and other essential systems.
Fleet Vehicle Finalization: Lead the final inspection and certification process for fleet vehicles.
Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior mechanics.
Requirements
Extensive Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair.
Advanced Diagnostic and Repair Skills: Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex HVAC systems, high-voltage electrical systems, and driveline components.
Attention to Detail and Precision: High level of accuracy in inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
Safety and Collaboration: Strong understanding of safety practices and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
