Job Description
The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,000 - $85,000 based on location and experience. The Mechanic II is responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
Inspect and repair company equipment, such as pickup trucks, line trucks, trailers, mini excavators, backhoes, compressors, and generators.
Perform road tests and operational checks of vehicles and equipment to ensure quality of repairs and service.
Place orders for required parts, materials, and supplies, as required.
Prepare and maintain records and reports.
Monitor prioritized projects, activities, and assignments to ensure completion of deadlines.
Maintain tools, supplies, and workstations in a clean, safe, and presentable manner.
Provide support and training for Mechanic I.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
