Job Description:
Working with our team of Mechanics in the shop and in the field your tasks include scheduling, repairing, troubleshooting, adjusting, overhauling and maintaining mobile and stationary heavy duty equipment including:
Zamboni Ice Resurfacers
Hydro Excavators
Street Sweepers
Vegetation Mgmt. Equipment
Multi-Purpose Tractors
Rubber Tire Gantry Cranes
As well, there’s…
Diesel powered equipment
Cooling, lubrication, engine control, hydraulic and electrical systems
Fabricating, constructing and installing
Testing repaired equipment for proper performance
Conducting equipment inspections
Completing accurate daily timesheets and service records
Whatever else it takes to get the job done
Experience & Skills
Minimum of 4 years related experience providing service, repairs and maintenance in a similar industry. Red Seal Certification (HD, Auto or CT) is highly preferred. Completed or close to completing your Red Seal will be considered.
Experience working with various heavy duty/automotive machinery and equipment including mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic, plumbing and machine operation. Experience with hydro-excavation equipment is an asset. Fabrication, welding and lithium batteries experience is preferred.

Basic accounting skills and good computer skills including vehicle/equipment operating systems, Outlook, basic Excel, etc.
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Calm and focused under pressure.
A safety first approach in all you do.
Can work overtime as required.
A valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clear driving record. Class 3 is a bonus.
Forklift certification/operation is an asset.
