Engage in the manufacturing and assembly of Industrial Power Systems within a heavy-industrial manufacturing facility. This role involves mechanical assembly, particularly working with sheet metal and assembling metal enclosures for the systems.
Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical assembly of industrial power systems using sheet metal.
• Assemble metal enclosures for the systems.
• Utilize hand and power tools including drills, tape measures, screwdrivers, wrenches, and impact tools.
• Follow blueprints for unit assembly and collaborate in team settings.
• Stand, stoop, and bend throughout the day to access various assemblies.
• Assemble units that are on average 8 ft. tall, including working inside the units when necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols including wearing steel-toe shoes on the first day.
