MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER TEAM LEAD
Purpose: The incumbent will lead mechanical engineers and also put to work his expertise in the domain knowledge in the project implementation and technological advancement in design and new product development
Key Result Area:
• Completion of projects within the cost and timeline.
• Work allocation to team members Ensuring project deliverables, schedule & cost compliance Preparation of product definitions and specifications.
• Responsible for mechanical product design, material selection, CAD design, and Design documents.
• Responsible for detailed product drawings and coordination with manufacturing team and vendors for realization of product.
• Responsible for project documentation as per AS+100 Quality requirements.
• Work closely with testing team to deliver field failure analysis, RCA Document designs for product support and efficient development of successive product generations.
• Interface effectively with sales and customers to ensure implementation success.
• Coordination with cross function teams electronic, software, testing for design & development, realization and testing.
Qualification & Experience:
BTech - Mechanical with 4 8 Years' or MTech in CAD/CAM or Machine design with 4-6 years with incremental technical and project leadership responsibilities in designing Aerospace /defense systems and mechanisms or precision electro mechanical systems or automotive components or machinery.
Skill set:
• Technical skill and knowledge of mechanical engineering, including mechanism and thermal engineering.
• Strong 3D design background / proficiency Solid works and CREO Design calculations, Reliability analysis, GD & T Exposure to FEA would be added advantage.
• Experience in leading team of 4-5 members Experience in working with cross functional teams and working with vendors for getting work done Exposure to testing would be added advantage
