Key Responsibilities
• Design & Develop Systems & Equipment: Create and refine mechanical systems focusing on automation, structural, and industrial solutions. HVAC, Air Filtration, Ventilation, Piping, etc.
• Project Management: Lead projects from concept through execution, managing third-party vendors for equipment design, installation, and startup.
• Field Work & Documentation: Take precise field measurements and document all engineering processes, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with different teams (automation, production, quality assurance) to integrate designs seamlessly into operations.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Implement improvements to enhance efficiency and safety, automate manual processes, and optimize mechanical operations.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design of industrial automation, motors, HVAC, and other systems; and machine or manufacturing system construction & installation project management
• Technical Skills: Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Understanding cross-functional team collaboration is essential.
• Project Experience: Proven experience managing mechanical installations, equipment sizing, and working with third-party vendors for design and controls.
• Preferred Skills: Knowledge of PLC systems (Allen Bradley preferred) and experience in drawing inspections and construction scheduling.
