Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer at Maharshi Industries Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad. As a Mechanical Engineer at MIPL, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of mechanical systems for special-purpose machines and robotic systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, electronics, and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into complex systems.
Preferable candidate profile:-
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
Experience: Experience in mechanical design, preferably in special-purpose machines, robotics, or industrial automation.
CAD Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for 3D modeling and mechanical drafting.
Robotics Knowledge: Strong understanding of robotic kinematics, dynamics, and powertrain systems, with experience in designing tracked and wheeled robots.
Material Science: In-depth knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, casting, and additive manufacturing.
System Integration: Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams for system integration, particularly in mechatronics and automation.
Prototyping and Testing: Hands-on experience in prototyping, testing, and refining mechanical designs.
Project Management: Ability to manage projects from concept to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex mechanical issues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, robotics, and mechatronics, with hands-on experience in prototyping and testing.The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to design engineering, machine design, mechanical engineering, product design, and using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
