Job Requirements :
• Bachelors / Masters in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or equivalent with 12+ years of relevant Experience.
• Experience in Part Assembly, Welding, Process Automaton and related Fixture design, Lean manufacturing / Equipment design.
• Experience in D-FMEA.
• Demonstrated ability to be responsible for a complete functional area of an application.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Good experience of on-site build support and work from OEM factories.
• Knowhow on materials, surface treatments, manufacturing processes, hydraulic & pneumatic systems etc.
• Deep understanding of QA methodologies & knowledge on Safety standards, ISO systems.
• Create execution plans for projects and see them through to completion.
• Should have experience in SPM machine
• Conceptualize original and unique designs and illustrations.
• Ensure the design team and junior designers are producing quality work.
• Choose the right images, typography, graphics and layouts for the project.
• Ensure the products created are user-friendly and convey brand consistency with all projects.
• A team player who is self-motivated, results oriented and detailed oriented.
• Ability and willingness to work independently and travel frequently (mainly in India).
• You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data

Key Roles :
• In this highly visible role, you will manage selection, implementation & optimization of assembly manufacturing processes for mechanical enclosure subassemblies for products.
• Utilize your mechanical engineering experience to provide guidance on equipment design, machine layout, part flow, assembly and movement mechanism, fixture design, accuracy control, standard components selection, SW flowchart, system integration, etc.
• Be deeply involved in the entire equipment development cycle, including: D-FMEA, PLM, initial automation proposal, machine selection, prototype machine testing & evaluation, leading DOEs to validate machine stability as well as process capability. Would also be working on existing machine continuous improvement, cycle time reduction, OEE improvement, modification or retrofit.
• Work with Global Supply Managers to develop new equipment from RFQ through factory implementation, and manufacture and deliver material to downstream supply chain nodes on time and on cost
• Provide leadership at manufacturing sites during development and product production ramp.
• You should be good multi-tasker who can work within tight deadlines.
• Preparation of drawings, Bill of materials, layouts etc.
• Preparation of technical documentation for commercial orders, use of Quality gates system
• Localization of imported parts and development of cost effective solutions.
• Communicate with Project leaders, Suppliers and Production engineers to implement the changes or to get best solutions to the problems.
• Maintenance and updating of design data base.
• Participation in functional and cross functional Continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintenance of technical documentation and periodic review.
• Preparation and attending internal / external audits for dept.
• Customer visit for attending serious complaints / new proposals/ customer CIP etc.
• You should be good multi-tasker who can work within tight deadlines.
