Key Responsibilities:
Product Design:
• Develop detailed mechanical designs for new products, ensuring considerations for functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements.
CAD Modeling and Simulation:
• Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and systems.
• Perform simulations and analyses to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
Prototyping and Testing:
• Oversee the fabrication of prototypes and conduct thorough testing to validate design specifications.
• Analyze test data, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on designs accordingly.
Material Selection:
• Research and recommend suitable materials for mechanical components, considering factors like strength, durability, and cost.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
• Work closely with electrical engineers, software developers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of mechanical components into overall product designs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production efficiency.
Documentation:
• Generate and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and test reports.
• Ensure that all design activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Continuous Improvement:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical design.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and design optimizations proactively.

Qualifications:
