Job Summary
Unilights.co is looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer (Fresher) with knowledge of SolidWorks to join our design team in Vile Parle East, Mumbai. The candidate will assist in designing, developing, and improving mechanical components for lighting products. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about product design and eager to grow in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
Assist in the design and development of lighting fixtures and mechanical components.
Prepare technical drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
Work with the production team to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Modify existing designs based on engineering feedback and testing results.
Support prototyping, testing, and product development activities.
Maintain organized design files and documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Knowledge of SolidWorks (3D modeling and drafting).
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
Basic knowledge of sheet metal design.
Knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software is a plus.
