Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer to develop innovative mechanical designs and detailed engineering drawings for our projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD software, a strong understanding of mechanical principles, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
Work closely with engineers to ensure designs meet functional and manufacturing requirements.
Perform design modifications, revisions, and improvements based on feedback and testing.
Conduct basic engineering calculations and material selection for design optimization.
Collaborate with the production and quality control teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of designs.
Maintain design documentation and update design records.
Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T standards.
Knowledge of material properties and engineering calculations.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
Experience in sheet metal or machine design (preferred).
Preferred Experience:
[ 3-4 years ] of experience in mechanical design.
Experience in [mention industry, e.g., sheet metal, automotive, heavy machinery, etc.].
Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and simulation tools is a plus.
