JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position : Mechanical Draftsman
QUALIFICATION : BE, B. Tech, Diploma
Experience : 8 Years
Location : Sandur (Hospet) Karnataka
Skill in : Auto Cad (must), solid works, Creo
They must have experience in Steel plant, Thermal power plant or pallet plant
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Creating Technical Drawings: Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings, including layout plans, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Material and Equipment Specification: Collaborate with engineers and project managers to determine materials, components, and equipment specifications required for the pallet plant design.
• Design Modifications: Review and update existing drawings as per project requirements, incorporating design modifications and revisions.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Documentation and Records: Maintain proper documentation and records of drawings, revisions, and design changes for future reference and traceability.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, architects, and production personnel, to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the design process.
• Problem Solving: Identify design issues or conflicts and propose solutions to ensure efficient and effective manufacturing processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, advancements in design software, and emerging technologies to improve design efficiency and effectiveness.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during the design process, considering ergonomics, accessibility, and risk assessment.
• Project Support: Provide technical support to project teams, including assisting in the preparation of project documentation, participating in meetings, and offering input during design reviews
